We have a person in the group that has some pretty legit limiting factors. She works the ER as a nurse and has the night shift. Long hours, variable break times and surrounded by crappy cafeteria food and vending machines full of candy. She finds it hard to eat consistently and healthy while at work. I am pretty sure they have a break room with a fridge and microwave but I'm not sure how much time she gets to spend there.
I would like to here some suggestions from other people in the group that might have similar limiting factors, or even if you can come up with some good ideas to help her out. This is a test..lol

Hi everyone, I work in a hospital setting as an ultrasound technologist. I do exams for ER's and Urgent Care in my hospital and most of the time i get so caught up with work that I forget to eat for 5 to 7 hours straight so when i planned to join this 30 day fat loss I already anticipated this limiting factor and have made my solutions so here's what I did. I only work an 8 hour shift so my problem is not that bad but you can use this idea to make it work for you.
I always time my last meal before work at least 30 mins before I start my shift. Now you may have to pack 2 to 3 or maybe 4 meals for a 12 hour shift. My simple foods combinations are almond butter and 4 stalks of celery or 3 hard boiled eggs with half a large avocado. One time i just took two table spoons of almond butter one right after the other and just followed it with 4 stalks of celery while i was writing my patient's report. This is the worst case if you really cannot take 10 mins break which you are entitled to at least 15mins every 4 hours on top of your lunch break. Just do your best to get your meals in.
Once you get your snacks in, just schedule your lunch break 2 and half to 3 hours later to time the meal intervals. The key here for your short meals prepare them where it's easy access and easy to consume. For example, make sure the hard boiled eggs are already peeled, avocado is already cut in half and with a plastic spoon on the bag, cut the celery and ready to eat on a plastic zip lock bag and carry it around if you have to, or carry around a meal bar and sneak a meal when it's slow, my last resort is water and my progenex shaker ready to mix and go if i'm desperate. Good Luck!
