Do you recommend any snacking between meals? If yes, what would be an approved snack?

A few ways to go about this. You could eliminate one of your meals and divide those calories into 2 snacks. Good examples here might be a few hard boiled eggs and some raw veggies for one and maybe a few spoons of almond butter on celery for the other.
If you stick to the meal plate strategy's the only snacking in between meals that would be acceptable might be some veggies, or bell peppers, etc. BUT,
I would encourage you to really just try to eat a meal every 3 hours and allow yourself to be hungry in-between meals.. In time your body will develop proper hunger cues.
